Town & Country: Enhance Creativity Through Photography, Level I - Fun Opportunity For Adults and Older Teens* in June

MAKE SOME CREATIVE SPACE!
It's last minute, but we didn't want to pass this up before the weather gets too warm - The new Town & Country: Enhance Creativity through Photography Workshop is inspired by our meeting with Jon Lyerly and his parents Joy & Robert of Infinity Farm who invited us to bring our workshop to their lovely, biodynamic (beyond orgainc!) farm.

Two Sessions:
Choose one session - or take both!
(however, must take the consecutive days within the session, no mixing and matching between
sessions, please):

Session 1 (two Saturdays):

June 7: 8:30am - 5 pm (meet at Bogart + Bogart's Studio)
June 14: 8:30 - 6 pm (meet at the Farm, 45 minutes from Durham)

Session 2 (two Saturdays):

June 21: 8:30am - 5 pm (meet at Bogart + Bogart's Studio)
June 28: 8:30 - 6 pm (meet at the Farm, 45 minutes from Durham)

Description: In the Town & Country Workshop, you'll have a chance to practice in two contrasting locations, in historic areas of Durham one Saturday, and at a working biodynamic farm in Orange County the next!

No Worries, Most Meals included ! We'll also be providing continental breakfasts on both mornings, a catered lunch at the Farm made with almost all local ingredients and Mediterranean or Belgian influences, and an hors d'oeurves buffet our last night during a slideshow of participants favorite images.

The focus of this workshop is for participants to learn techniques to enhance their awareness and tap into their own personal vision. Through daily sensory and photo-making exercises students will open up to new possibilities to refresh the way they see the outer world and their connection to it.

Participants will be inspired through the use of breathing and visual
exercises, music and sharing their images in slideshows. This workshop’s focus is on intuitive and creative image-making, using the camera more as an instrument to sketch moments, recognize the extraordinary in the ordinary, and as a tool for contemplation and recharging our creative batteries. This is not a technical course on how to use your camera, and a working knowledge of your camera is required, though technical guidance will be given when needed.

This is a small group workshop that encourages sharing and gives lots of one on one time with the instructors. Maximum number of participants is limited to 10 - 11 people. * Mature teens between 16 - 18 years old may take the workshop with a responsible adult also taking the workshop (parent, uncle, aunt, teacher, etc.).

Costs for Workshop: $ 285
Includes 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, and an hors d'oeurves dinner buffet
(we will most likely have lunch at George's Garage on the first Saturday of each session, which is not included.)

We are able to take MasterCard, Visa, Checks and Cash
